    Original Characters (Feline)

    Wolfspirit (Thunderclan cat)

    Pic

Wolfspirit is a dark gray cat with a sturdy frame. More stocky than she is lithe, Wolfspirit's dark fur is short in length, with darkened areas on her ears and under her chin. Her tail is long and tufted, and her ears sleek and cone-shaped. Wolfspirit has green, almond-shaped eyes and a slightly softened facial structure that ends in a black nose. She has medium-length limbs ending in average-sized paws. If you look really close, she has a small black mark on her ear. Wolfspirit's attitude really depends on what she's feeling. Most of the time, however, she tends to be short-spoken and slow to anger. Once you ruffle her fur though, look out! Wolfspirit can have a fierce temper when provoked, and be rather unwilling to concede her point. This is a cat who is perfectly happy to follow, and will only lead if necessary. However, others need know; this is not a creature you can walk all over. Try it and you might be the one who gets stepped on. Wolfspirit likes being on her own or with a small to medium band of cats. She also enjoys having a sense of purpose, and will want to contribute wherever she is. Not only that, but she loves to explore, and relishes knowledge and familiarity with her surroundings. This cat does not feel comfortable in large crowds, which make her feel overwhelmed. Wolfspirit dislikes being without a purpose, or not being able to make contributions when she is in a group. She is also not fond of the rain, even though it can be shaken from her short fur easily. Wolfspirit is an open-minded cat, always willing to try new things, as long as she thinks it wise or worth doing. She has a gracious heart at most times, and will generally help cats who are in need. Loyal to a fault, she will stick by those companions whom she deems worthy of her devotion. Wolfspirit instinctively values loyalty to those she trusts over loyalty to what is right, and consequently at times finds herself on the unjust side of matters. Although she is a cat who is slow to anger, she is also slow to forgive; cross her, and she will resent you for an unfairly long time. She can also be unflatteringly harsh when angered, and prone to saying things she will regret. Wolfspirit was born into ThunderClan. As Wolfkit, she was determined to be as powerful and fearsome as the animal after which she was named. That determination carried on in Wolfpaw, who practiced and trained with a quiet fierceness that left little room for making close friends. Near the end of her apprenticeship, she began to enjoy taking long walks in the forest when she was able. She found being by herself allowed her to relax in a way she couldn't in camp or on patrol. By the time she was Wolfspirit, some of that intense focus on training had waned, and she began to befriend more of her clanmates. However, to this day she will sometimes disappear into the forest, alone with her thoughts. A part of Wolfspirit will always crave solitude, despite how tied she is to her Clan. Wolfspirit's mother is a tortoiseshell named Mistyfern, and her father is a blue tom called Graywhisker.

    Salmonleap (ThunderClan cat)

    Pic

Salmonleap is a light, rosy-colored tom with light eyes. Even when he was Salmonkit, the young pale tom was the fiesty cat of the litter. Where brother Deepwater and younger sister Wolfspirit naturally think first and act second, Salmonleap takes after his warrior name in that he will leap into action before looking. He is fiercely protective of Wolfspirit, and although he has an admiration for Deepwater, he can sometimes become exasperated with his littermate's mellow temper. Salmonleap's father is a long-furred blue tom named Breezetuft, and his mother is Mistyfern, a tortoiseshell.

    Age: 33 moons
Kin: Wolfspirit (sister), Deepwater (brother), Buzzardkit (brother, deceased)

    Deepwater (ThunderClan cat)

    Pic

Deepwater is a silver-grey tom. He looks very similar to his younger half-sister Wolfspirit, but his fur is long while her's is short, and Deepwater's eyes are a dark blue, not green like his sister's. He and Salmonleap were born with a third littermate, Buzzardkit, who died shortly after he was named. Although his living brother Salmonleap doesn't dwell on his lost brother too much, Deepwater often thinks about Buzzardkit. Deepwater has a calm, mellow temperment, and seems to have endless patience with difficult situations. Generally regarded as wise, Deepwater feels the weight of the expectations of his clanmates, and most of all his kin, very strongly. He often wonders what will happen when the day comes where he disappoints them. Deepwater and Salmonleap's mother is Mistyfern, a tortoiseshell, and their father is a long-furred blue tom named Breezetuft.

    Breezetuft (ThunderClan cat)

    Pic

Breezetuft is a medium-sized tomcat with a fluffy tail and tufted ears. His long, blue-gray fur is rather fine, not thick like one might assume, and frames his face. He has sharp yellow eyes, and his muzzle is curved very slightly upward. He has big ears for his build, and although he'd never tell you, he was teased about them when he was an apprentice. Breezetuft is a quiet, introverted cat who mainly keeps his thoughts to himself. When he does speak, however, he is sharp-tongued and easy to annoy. Maybe there was a time when Breezetuft was younger that he was better-tempered, but if so, those days are in his past. If you wanted to know what changed in him, you'd have to ask, and he wouldn't be open to telling. Breezetuft was born into the Clan to two parents who were very proud of their firstborn son. Their pride fueled Breezetuft's determination to be the best warrior in the Clan. A promising apprentice, Breezepaw grew close to another apprentice, Mistypaw, early on in training. Unsurprisingly, not long after the two became warriors, Mistyfern was expecting their kits. Salmonleap and Deepwater were born, and Breezetuft could not have been happier...until the kits were around 4 moons, when Breezetuft and Mistyfern stopped speaking, and nothing was the same. No cat knows what happened, because each of the two refuse to talk of it, but moons later Mistyfern gave birth to her and a warrior named Graywhisker's kit, Wolfspirit.

    Age: 48 moons

    Mistyfern (WindClan cat, ex-ThunderClan)

    Pic

Mistyfern is a tortoiseshell she-cat with light hazel-green eyes. She is the mother of Wolfspirit, Deepwater, and Salmonleap, as well as the adopted mother of Mistlekit. She loves all of her kits dearly, and is determined that they are, or will be fantastic warriors. Mistyfern has been in love twice; first with a long-furred blue tom named Breezetuft, who fathered Deepwater and Salmonleap, and then again with a short-furred blue tom known as Graywhisker. Mistyfern doesn't like to speak of what happened between her and her first mate, but a crackling tension lies between the two. Graywhisker was killed in battle, so Mistyfern's second mate watches on in StarClan, keeping a close eye on Mistyfern and Wolfspirit. Eventually Mistyfern decided to leave ThunderClan, as it no longer felt like her home. She was surprised to find Mistlekit and Alderleaf following her, and let them join her on her quest for a new home.

    Age: 27 moons
Kin: Wolfspirit (daughter), Deepwater (son), Salmonleap (son)

Wolfspirit winced as she trod on a clanmate's tail, holding her breath as she waited for the cat to wake up. When they didn't, she let out a silent sigh of relief and kept going, managing to sneak out of the warriors' den, and then the Clan camp. She could hardly believe what she was doing, meeting a cat from another Clan, even if it was on the border. But she trusted Reptile, and hurried to meet her.

Wolfspirit felt her heartbeat quicken along with her pawsteps; it had been too long since she had seen Reptile, and her ears were pricked in anticipation to meet with her mate again. She understood Reptile's concern; if either of them were caught, there would be StarClan to pay. Once more, Wolfspirit cursed the fact that Reptile had met ShadowClan first, and not ThunderClan. Then all our problems would be solved! But there was no use lingering on it now. Wolfspirit smelled the sharp scent of ShadowClan and realized she was at the border. Scanning the clearing, she realized that she was the first to arrive. She sat down and curled her tail over her paws, waiting.

Okay, I gotcha, well in the Fable series you start off as a morally neutral person, but as you begin playing you have endless opportunities to either be a good person or a bad person. This involves stealing or mocking or using violence and becoming more evil, or helping villagers and paying for things and becoming a better person. Depending on which moral path you take, your appearance changes and you are treated differently.

I'm imagining that maybe the choices you make will effect what happens to you later in the game, by using sort of a point system? You could be kicked out of the clan and choose to live as a rogue, or you could become clan leader?

I think that's a really interesting idea, your character evolving based on their actions. I would definitely like seeing that in a Warrior's game! Both yours and The Last of Us' ideas sound very neat!

Wolfspirit shivered a little, suddenly wishing that she had Reptile's long coat to keep her warm. The cold air seemed to seep into her skin like a second pelt, and she glanced around once more for Reptile. Where was she? It was too cold a night to be sitting still. Wolfspirit got to her paws and shifted them against the grass to try and keep warm. Turning her head around, she gave her pelt a quick couple of licks to smooth down her fur.

Wolfspirit leapt into the air with a yelp, her tail fluffed up twice its normal size. Spinning around, her heart pounded as she pictured a cat from either Clan waiting to expose her secret. It was only when she saw the familiar dark pelt and warm eyes that she relaxed. "Reptile!" she purred, bounding over to her mate and pressing her nose in Reptile's warm coat. "You nearly scared me out of my fur!"

Wolfspirit nudged her mate good-naturedly, pressing closer into her fur. "ThunderClan is okay, we had an outbreak of whitecough in the camp, but it cleared up pretty fast. How are things in ShadowClan?"

Salmonleap lifted his head, wakened by Bluesky's stirring. "Wha-? Wolfspirit?" The pinkish-cream tom pushed himself to his paws. "Do you think she went for a walk in the forest?"

Wolfspirit nodded, touching her nose to Reptile's ear appreciatively. "It certainly could've been way worse." She shuddered to think of what could've happened if the sickness had progressed into greencough. She was glad for Reptile's words; she knew the ShadowClan cat had never been particularly fond of ThunderClan.

Salmonleap sighed, knowing Bluesky was probably right. Why did his sister have to be up to something all the time? "I suppose I ought to go and track her down, before the whole camp notices." Making his way to the opening of the den, he looked over his should at Bluesky. "Coming?
